Senate flag amendment: no-vote calculator

The Constitutional standard to pass amendments through the Senate is two-thirds of senators present and voting. (Believe me, it is. Kidding. About the believe part.)

Abstentions do not count as votes against - as they do on a cloture vote, for instance.

The scores on the doors - number of total votes against required votes to pass the amendment resolution - are these:

99 - 66
98 - 66
97 - 65
96 - 64
95 - 64
94 - 63

The ACLU says it's counted the current votes in favour at 65. Only three senators need to bug out to make that a winning score.

Scary, huh?
