Howard Dean and Tom DeLay polling neck and neck, almost

It's close, though: in Gallup polls Dean's fav/unfav (from February) is 35-33, DeLay's (April 1-2) is 27-31.

Bear in mind Terri Schiavo died on March 31, and DeLay (with his pre-existing ethical problems) had donned the mantle of ringmaster of the vastly unpopular Congressional Schiavo Circus.

I'm surprised not only that DeLay is only 4 points negative, but that as many as 58% express a view about a guy no one except nerds and Texans had heard of pre-Schiavo: Dean, on the other hand, had acres of publicity from his presidential bid, and can only get 68% expressing a view.
