Dems have Dean fear, it seems
Yesterday, I caught a segment of the (impeccably DEWDROP) girls on Air America's Unfiltered entering a caveat on the new DNC Chairman before he's had time to warm the upholstery.
Two snafus were fingered as - just possibly - indicative of a rocky road ahead: first, his on-off media blackout for his debate with Richard Perle; and, second, his comment in response to one of Stephen Minarik, New York Republican Party chairman, saying
that Dean's election shows that "the Democrats simply have refused to learn the lessons of the past two election cycles, and now they can be accurately called the party of Barbara Boxer, Lynne Stewart and Howard Dean."
called Stephen Minarik's comments offensive, and said, "The American people deserve better than this type of political character assassination."
Uh oh: Boxer not the happiest of bunnies hearing that, I'd wager.
Flaky enough. Then, I see in yesterday's The Note a reference to
Dean's off-handed remark that the only way Republicans could fill a hotel conference room is to usher in the hotel staff.
The piece suggests that
Democrats Fear Dean's Mouth.
