A Teresa-ism I'd missed: VRWC let me down!

On September 15, it seems that Teresa Heinz Kerry was in New York meeting a bunch of Haitians packing aid parcels for the hurricane victims in their native island.

She thought they should get their priorities straight:
Clothing is wonderful, but let them go naked for a while, at least the kids. Water is necessary, and then generators, and then food, and then clothes.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention (what are the odds?), but I don't get the impression that the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy went to town on this. Nothing like the Shove it! hoo-ha, certainly.

(Strange, given the availability of a racial angle: would even Teresa have suggested in any circumstances that young Floridian hurricane victims should go naked in the cause of straight priorities?

A viciously twisted, partisan comparison, you say? Now who hasn't been paying attention!)
