Butler Report - getting past the typography!


The Report - on the handling of WMD intelligence - is now available (PDF).

Substantive comment is available from Uncle Tom Cobbley - the chance of whom having read all 216 pages of the document ranks with that of finding WMD in Iraq - so I'll pass for the moment.

Except - the guy in charge of the technical side of producing the report should certainly be shot! A nasty sans serif font [1] is bad enough. But the moron has arranged that the (extensive) quotations appear in italics and in turquoise!

Inside joke? Deliberate attempt to put off readers? Answers on a postcard...
