The not-Kerry-tottie Alex Polier is hired to dish

Why shouldn't she get something out of it?

The New York Daily News today suggests that
Columbia Journalism School grad Alexandra Polier [is] toiling on an epic essay about her experiences at the center of a political firestorm.

According to an informed source, the former Associated Press intern is writing her account - for which New York magazine is paying $10,000 - of how it felt to be on the wrong side of the reporter-subject equation.

Ten lousy grand?

The Daily News also gives us that pic of Polier looking like her entry in the Pyongyang University Year Book. A suitable consort for Treebeard, in fact...

No news of Maria Goodman, though. I've looked, periodically.

Goodman, you may recall, was named by the Boston Herald as the girl seen dropping off her resumé at John Kerry's sumptuous Boston abode in 1998 (February 21).

By pure coincidence, a piece in Campaign Desk today highlights an AP piece by the formerly watchblogged Nedra Pickler still retailing the rumour that Wesley Clark was responsible for starting the whole Alex Polier/John Kerry business, despite eye-witness evidence to the contrary.
