Missing POW relatives take on Kerry over shredding committee

In my first piece (February 25), I offered only the faintest chance that anything could be made of the Sydney Schanberg Village Voice allegations.

By yesterday, this seemed to being borne out.

Now, I read in the Sunday Times today [1] that Ann Holland (whose husband Melvin went missing in 1968) and the unsnappily named group POW/MIA Family Members Against Kerry have taken up the challenge [2].

The very best of British luck to them: I'm pretty sure they will need it!

  1. Google News returns this piece alone on kerry "ann holland"

  2. I counted 62 relatives' names listed on the site, some POW's having more than one relative listed.

There is some relevant material, including articles by Schanberg from 1992 and 1993 (when Kerry's committee was in being).
