Jeff Jarvis, though known to dispense complete bollocks on the BBC and Hutton and (more recently) Spain and Al Qaeda, is doing a deal of excellent heavy lifting daily on the broadcast censorship issue.

The Senate will, I think, be looking to pass S 2506 in some form or other next week when it reconvenes: the druther would be that S2506 will be laden with all sorts of extras that will gum up conference proceedings until at least October; and that the lame duck session will have other fish to fry.
