Bolivian magazine goes completely troppo!
In the past, I've referred to several pieces from the Pulso magazine of La Paz. Not the best news mag in the world, but not bad.
Now, after an unexpected hiatus, it comes back - and is expecting suckers to pony up US$35 a year for web access. Bear in mind that the PPP-adjusted per capita GDP of Bolivia is around $2,500 (non-adjusted, around $1,000); and that the Wall Street Journal is, I find, $79 a year online for non-deadwood guys; and the New Republic was only around twenty bucks last time I looked - some folks clearly need their head examining!
