WaPo ombudsman sparks memo war on Wolfowitz piece

Michael Getler's weekend piece (noted here yesterday) has raised the roof over at Graham Towers: Romanesko has a bile-laden exchange of memos between Getler and Gene Robinson, assistant managing editor of the Style page.

These guys are so short of patience and shoe leather (or cellphones, even) that they have to commit their spat to paper [1] (and, thence, to posterity)?

I sense a history...

  1. An email is, of course, as good as paper: the old office rule, Never write anything you wouldn't like to have read out in open court, applies just the same.
